Genevieve Huston was Patti Harsch’s last recruit into dance troupe Benat Serat. She danced with the troupe until Patti retired in 2013. At that time, she began teaching Patti’s bellydance classes. She met Sensei Rosa shortly after and began training in Dance Bunkai, an original dance form that incorporates self-defense movements. Genevieve currently performs with Desert Coast Dance Performing Arts and as a solo Dance Bunkai artist specializing in samurai sword.

Genevieve Huston choreographs and directs the Performing Arts Program for children and adults. She draws from the past by keeping old traditions alive while constantly finding inspiration from all over the world in search of something yet to be discovered.
